As you can see from the chart below, First Draft has a very small download count. Yet it has already garnered a handful of sales within nine days. These sales exceed the 1% sales conversion ratio, which suggests that for every 1000 downloads, First Draft should get only one sale. Clearly, 1% conversions aren't happening here. According to the table below, First Draft has a conversion rate of 1 sale per 16 downloads (6.3% percent).
If you know anything about referral sales and commissions, then you can see that First Draft has the potential to make its affiliates very happy. It takes only 16 downloads to acquire multiple sales. So imagine what would happen if you, as an affiliate, encouraged 100 downloads. Math dictates affiliate earnings of $74.85.
For that reason, I'm encouraging the affiliate community to join First Draft's affiliate program. If I'm correct in my assumptions (and maybe someone with more experience can correct me on those assumptions), First Draft affiliate commissions would explode through the roof.
The software is described at http://www.justoutsourcing.com/files/fd/index.html. See the link above for the affiliate program, which is provided through eSellerate. I suggest that if you're in the affiliate market, and you're looking for something that's new, sign up and start promoting it today.
