For the entire month of June, First Draft underwent a huge transformation in terms of artificial intelligence. As a result, the software has become not only smarter, but also more responsive. That means writers can access helpful suggestions and content throughout the entire writing process whether they're writing about cactus plants or airplane parts. And all that's required to see it in action is to start typing.
Data Packs Not Required
Some time ago, I announced that the bulk of First Draft's Data Packs would be incorporated into the software. Well, thanks to this latest update, that process has begun with a bang. As of now, the software automatically includes over 130 Data Packs and thus covers huge range of topics as a result. You can find those topics in the software's Purpose menu. But don't sweat it if you don't see your topic covered. The software's artificial intelligence will now help you determine the appropriate writing angle based on the supplied keyword.
Artificial Intelligence Everywhere
Now that the software's AI is in full swing, writers can take even more advantage of the other tools inside First Draft. It doesn't matter whether you're writing an article, outline, data report, or short story. First Draft's AI will contribute relevant, juicy details the moment you start to type. It even does the same in generated quizzes and chatbot interviews!
Want Even More?
A new feature has been added to the Expand with Detail function that boosts the software's artificial intelligence even more. Being a manual process, it's enacted at the writer's request. And it's the same as asking someone to tell you a little more about a topic and then having the answers placed inside your mouse cursor -- waiting to be unleashed the minute you start typing.
